I am a lifelong lover and reader of books, and I have a career that affords me the opportunity to spend my days with books! As an acquisitions editor at a scholarly publishing house, I am lucky to have found a book-centric career that gives me access to cutting edge scholarship being done in several several fields. I read a broad range of manuscripts with a focus on the fields of African American studies, Latin American studies, Asian American studies, American studies, women's, gender, and sexuality studies, and religion.
In my spare time, I try to dive into literary fiction, along with a few other genres for balance. I'm most drawn to dystopian fiction, international fiction (including works in translation), and literary classics--even better when some of these categories overlap. When I'm not at work, taking my work home with me, or reading, I am absorbed with watching acclaimed television series, crime dramas, or terrible reality television--especially anything on Bravo.
(Yes, my shirt has punctuation on it.)

Do you review literary fiction? If so, I have two books which you might be interested in. My email address is: Riddell.Jane@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteHi Jane, Thanks for the message! I more or less review whatever suits my fancy, and certainly literary fiction, yes. You can find my email on the sidebar of the webpage if you want to get in touch via email!
